Data We Collect

CiaoVeloce does not collect any personal data. The app works entirely offline and does not communicate with any server. The following information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• •Your lesson progress (which lessons you have completed)
• •Your daily streak count
• •Your Oro points balance
• •Your interface language preference (English or Brazilian Portuguese)
• •Your theme preference (Light, Dark, or System)
• •Which exercises you have seen in each lesson

This data is stored using Apple's standard UserDefaults system on your device. It is not backed up to any external server by us.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following:

• •Your name, email address, or any contact information
• •Your location or IP address
• •Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• •Usage analytics or crash reports
• •Any biometric data
• •Payment information
• •Any data from children or any other users

The app contains no advertising, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party frameworks that collect data.

How We Use Your Data

Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not use your data in any way. All app functionality is powered entirely by data stored locally on your device.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with any third parties. There are no advertising partners, analytics providers, or data brokers involved in this app.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data stored by CiaoVeloce exists only on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by:

• •Using the "Reset All Progress" option in the app's Settings screen
• •Deleting the CiaoVeloce app from your device, which removes all locally stored data

We have no ability to access or delete your data on your behalf because we never receive it.

Children's Privacy

CiaoVeloce is a general-purpose language learning app suitable for all ages. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the app collects no personal data from anyone, children's data is equally protected.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and EU GDPR, you have rights including access to your data, correction, deletion, and the right to object to processing. Since CiaoVeloce does not collect or process any personal data, these rights are automatically satisfied. There is no personal data held by us to access, correct, or delete. If you have any concerns, please contact us at nuke@nukesubmarine.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on the security of your device. We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a passcode or biometric lock. We do not transmit any data over the internet, so there is no risk of data interception or server-side breach.

Third-Party Services

CiaoVeloce uses no third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks that collect data. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's own privacy policy governs how Apple handles data related to app downloads and purchases.

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page. If we ever introduce features that collect personal data in the future, we will update this policy before releasing those features and notify users through the app.
